When we not pitching we watching.  When we just watching we seeing all mistakes.  When we pitching, very different thing seeing game like this.

I thinking we getting better we getting good innings.

I pitching good in simulated game.  i throw many strike ball.  I thinking my speed better when i resting more, but Coach Bonilla, sir saying this OK.  he liking that I getting pitching in game.

Sunday we having day off, but not having day off.  We watching game morning.  afternoon, we getting photo session many time.  They taking many picture playing the baseball and many picture not playing the baseball just Pirate city me and Rinku.

Yesterday JB Sir coming Pirate City.  This is very good thing.  He very happy seeing Rinku and me.  We happy he here to us.

We going after practice we signing many thing for company.  They taking sticker we signing they putting on baseball cards.  We also signing baseballs they selling fans.

He take us to Chinese food for meal.  We enjoy this.

Tomorrow we going Olrlando meeting India Ambassador.  Rinku and me excite we getting driving over bridge very beautiful sightings.

Thanking to all fans writing us and saying good things.  We keep trying and we keeping India in our heart.

Rinku and me talking cell phone brother India, and they saying family how we doing here.  Our families is good.  Last week big religious festical called Holi.  Many India having celebrate all week.  All boys and girls playing the colors.  small bags color buying and throwing at peoples everywhere. This is very enjoyable thing.

we not believing one year past we at Million Dollar Arm Contest finals playing the colors, now we here pitchers Pirates.

many fans asking emails we missing family.  Yes we missing family but now very bad time India.  we safe here living good ways and Many our family there fighting terrorist.  Very dangerous.

Rinku and I liking Pirate City very good.  food very good here.  Many foods trying and eating many foods as we liking.

We also making the friends with other player Pittsburgh Pirates.  All players saying hello and being nice with us.  Two player very good friend me and Rinku.  One man Jamie Romak from -Canada.  He playing Pirates AA.  Other man Eddie Prasch-from-USA.   he playing Pirates A.  same like us.

they good guys.  We talking movies and the music.  We playing the pool.  They helping us with these things.  It more easy we making friend player and coach Pirate City.  We very obliged to pirates for hosting us here in this manner.

Many peoples writings us.  We getting many email all saying good things to us.  this making us feel good peoples wanting us success.  We getting these words and wanting us we pitching better.

Me and Rinku very proud being Pirates choosing us for the pitching.  Things very good for us here.  They saying we machine but we only wanting be pitcher.  We trying so hard all times to be best and always pushing our bodies to extent.  Coach Bonilla very good teaching us.  We both feeling we inproving pitching here Pirate City.  We very thankful for Pirate City, players and coaches.  All peoples there very nice me and Rinku.  Some players wanting take us to the saloon but we not doing this thing.

We having many media all asking same question to us.  They asking how we like being slum dog story.  but we not Slum Dogs.  India having many type village.  Rinku and me village like farm.  Not like market in movie.  Also boys in movie growing homeless.  we grow on farm.  working hard and live home with family.  We both finishing the High School.  India story true, many homeless boys doing these things in movie, but not our villages.

We liking this movie, but not liking that people thinking we living in streets.

Today we getting great surprise.  Jeff Sir coming visit and taking us dinner.  After meal, Jeff sir coming Pirate City and we playing the pool.  Chan Ho Park also coming and playing the pool with us.  We having good time.  Jeff sir very good man.  Jeff sir winning 5 games to Rinku.  He winning 2 games to me.  He saying we coming his house and playing the pool.  Chan Ho Park sir we meeting first time Dodger stadium.  He first Korean player come USA, so he knowing some of these things we seeing.  We liking Korean food.  many Korean player here Pirate City, so we getting extra korean food.  this is good thing.

Here are some facts about their villages:

Rinku is from Bhadoni in Uttar Pradesh India, and Dinesh is from Varanassi, Uttar Pradesh India.  their villages are about 60 KM apart.

Both villages have populations of around 1500.

Neither village has indoor or outdoor plumbing, no telephone lines, no cable TV, and no paved roads.

Most people feed themselves with food they grow, and then they go to market to trade the rest of the food grown for other goods needed by the family.

They eat Daal (Blended lentil beans) and rice three times a day, and once per week they get some chicken or fish.

Both boys graduated thru Class 10 in India.

Both families lived on salaraies of about $30 per month, but as Dinesh described it, “In village life, all people living the same.  So we not knowing better ways.”

Many fans asking more picture of us.  We not knowing why they wanting seeing us, but we taking more.

We having many interview during week.  ABC interviewing us.  NBC & CNBC Interviewing us.  Man from Sports Illustrated taking his time with us.  He Indian man.  He saying nice words with us.

Very crazy people wanting talk our story, but we only really thinking how better pitching and helping pirates win.  One good thing on media is they showing Rinku family and home.  So that making him feeling good to seeing these things.

We hoping peoples knowing we proud being Pirates.  Pirates being team organized more 120 years.  We very happy this team choosing us, and we working hard all days be good pitching.  We having picture of Roberto Clemente sir in our room.  He great Pirate.  He first Hispanic player for baseball.   So we thinking we inspire.  Maybe we one day being 1st Indian playing for baseball Pirates like Roberto Clemente, sir.

This week we getting very generous arrangement to Wilson Company.  Pat sir sending us very fine Wilson gloves for fielding.  They very good glove.  We thanking Wilson for this kindness to Rinku and me.

Rinku and me thanks all our fans.  We sorry not return emails week past.  We going Florida to Pirate City.

Pirate City very good place.  Rinku and me having good room.  We having bathroom.  We have big TV.   In Pirate City they having many grounds.  Grounds most nice we seen.  They having big room where everyone eating.  There are many foods to choose.  Everything very good.

We still not pitching yet.  We want to show pitching Pirates, but coach saying next week maybe.

We also going American Doctor.  this is first time we ever going doctor like this.  He having many things he testing us with.  They hit knee with rubber hammer.  He looking in our nose and ears even.  He also checking us for hernia.  We not saying how he checking, but we happy JB Sir telling us Doctor doing this thing.  If he not telling us, being big surprise.

Pirates treating us very good.  We working so hard at this dream.  we can’t believe we here.  we knowing we need more practice, but we telling all Indian boys…  You working hard, you dreaming come true too!
