Camaraderie at the Camp

Today was a continuation of yesterday’s camp. Tomorrow’s the last day. We met a Korean called Joey today; he’s a catcher. We both developed a great rapport with each other and hit it off quite well. We spent some time practicing our catching skills with him. Also met a lot of new players and exchanged notes. We got to pick on their experiences and learnt quite a few things from them. They’ve been playing baseball for the last 6-7 years. We all had lunch together.

At dinner, JB sir cooked us Italian food. Needless to say, it was really drool worthy. He gave me a plastic knife since I cut my finger trying to use the steel one. His concern was really touching. Another instance of the affection we get here.
