Visit to Fox TV Studios

We got a glimpse of the miracles of Hollywood today. Happened to visit the studios of Fox. It was an awesome experience.

First we got to eat a fine meal at the studio executive dining hall.  We both had a fish called Ahi Tuna.  At 1st we thought it was not cooked, but that is the way they cook it here.  I must say, we both liked it the best of any fish here so far.

Next, we were taken on a VIP tour around the studios. Now we have an idea about the techniques used to simulate action sequences through computers.

There was a huge hall dedicated to sound and acoustics where we learned that all the sound effects, voices and music are added after they film the movie.  That is what the enormous recording booths are for.  There was one control panel that had at least 500 switches and knobs.  GAZAB!

We met also Jeff Ball sir, a giant of a man from Fox, who arranged for this tour for which we are very grateful.  We love Hollywood action movies so much and Fox is the best of that type.

We saw the room where the keep the clothes that all the actors and acctresses wear in all their movies and TV shows.  You can’t describe how many clothes are in there and this picture will hardly show a small part of it.

The studio covers about 50 acres of ground. Immense right? We saw the building that was used in the film ‘Die Hard’. It really felt surrealistic. I’ll probably be dreaming of Hollywood tonight.
