I feeling very lucky so far this season playing games. I getting pitch 1st game to New york Yankees A team, and now i pitching Phillies A team.
For fans in India, Yankees winning most championships history and Phillies winning championship last.
I pitching 1 batter 6th inning ground out. i pitching 4 batter in 7th inning and getting Fly out, Strike out, giving single, and getting ground out.
Pirates team not winning game though so i am sad about this. I not getting excited when pitching good if team not winning game. in America team baseball like national team in Cricket India… Cricketer not celebrating hitting Century if team losing match. This is how we feeling about this in baseball.
I trying hard Coach Bonilla saying throwing strikes only. This is good philosophy for the pitching.
Today very bad thing happening. We winning game, and then rain coming and they saying game not complete. if no raining we winning so this is not good thing.

Why is the game complete when there is rain. In cricket, we cover the pitch and if it continues to rain till the end (till evening when the match is supposed to end) or if there is bad light, then match is abandoned. In baseball, there is no pitch..so why is it abandoned?
Can anyone comment on Dinesh’s performance as picher in the game based on the stats he mentioned.

When it starts to rain, they will put a tarp on the infield and wait to see if it stops raining. If it does not, and 5 innings have not been played the game is abandoned. If 5 innings have been played the game becomes official and is over.
Dinesh pitched well based on those stats. Any team would be satisfied with that performance.
